Question from the darkside about wheat cents

What is the going rate for wheat cents PDS 1941-1958? 3c, 4c . . . ? Thanks.

If you list them on eBay as a MASSIVE WHEATIE HOARD, and toss in a long story and some pictures of a chick with a steamer trunk, you can probably get more.

lets just say you are very lucky and you happen to run across a 1955 d/d well now hmmmmmmmm i think that would be a bit more then .5 cents dont you think even if it was in crap condition.

Shouldn't be over 2 cents but sometimes is. Circ. wheat cents from those years are extremely common. Hoards in the millions exist. I suspect that a very high percentage of the issue still exists.

Thanks for the replies. I'm setting up at a friend's local coin show tomorrow and was wondering what to charge for them. I have about 500 wheats from my late uncle's collection. I'll probably give some away to any kids at the show but I'll charge 2c each to the adults. All the coins were taken out of circulation and many are AU with a few 1955-S coins. My uncle put the coins in old cigarette boxes by date and mint mark. No '55 double dies, I checked them out.
