Beautiful 50-50 centering...if you measure from the bottom left and top right corners. What's even funnier is that some moron bid 40 bucks for this gem. Text

What's the point of this statement? To slam PSA? To slam DSL? or to slam the high bidder? No matter what your intention was, I think your arguments are weak.
The card meets the standards for a PSA 8.
DSL provides a lot of nice, high grade cards to the hobby, as well as some sliders. Can you name another ebay seller that is any different?
SMR for this card in PSA 8 is $65. That "moron" got a decent deal for a low end 8.
Do your homework first.
JEB.
If you figure 10 % of all 7's could be 8's, and 10 % of all 8's could be 7's,
regardless of who submits them, and DSL submits tens of thousands of cards,
well ... just do the math. Long live DSL ...

I could be wrong but it seems you may have an issue with PSA's standards rather than their application. For instance, this card would grade a "frazier 6", but that is my standard for eye-appeal and technical merit. While it seems like I'm a stricter grader than PSA consider that I will grade an otherwise MINT example that is virtually perfect with a single hair-line unnoticeable surface wrinkle a NM 7...PSA says "5"...again it's the STANDARDS we're dealing with.
Lastly, The difference between us and DSL (who I used to rail on but have since shut-up as they have sold me some gorgeous cards the past couple years) is that we wouldn't submit such a card. DSL understands PSA's standards and submits accordingly. They do so because there will always be "morons" to supply the bids. They know the rules and play the game exceedingly well, can you blame them?
