French medal received in jig time

Won this on 12/20-same day shipping notification from French seller-received yesterday with Christmas and New Years in between! image
Had to have this for a variety of reasons: bust of Marianne in the mix, beautiful nude woman, overall great allegorical design, really irritated that I had just lost another piece to an ubberbidder.image

Obv/ EXPOSITION UNIVERSELLE.1889. A woman (France ?) seated right and crowning a naked worker seated on an anvil. On the background : a view of the fair and the Eiffel Tower (inaugurated during this World Fair).

Rev/ REPUBLIQUE FRANCAISE. A naked Victory is blowing in her trumpet as she holds the Bust of Marianne (the Symbol of the French Republic).

engraved by Louis Bottée (born in Paris, 1852-1941).

A lovely piece and I like the chocolate toning. My own example is shown below, although it really isn't quite so beige in color; the image is a little too yellow. It does give one an idea of the range of coloration of toning one can get out of the same alloy of bronze, though.
