It's a new year and it's time to start a new set............I MUST BE CRAZY!!!

I must be crazy but as of 1-1-2004 i have started a 1971 Topps Baseball set in PSA 8 and 9 NQ. I told myself i wasn't going to start any new sets this year and just collect star cards and HOF'ers but i can't help myself, that set is awesome. Unlike the sets i've started in the past im going to take it slow on this set and try to build a quality 71 set in PSA 8 and 9 NQ with no sliders. If it takes five years to complete thats fine but i don't want to get burnt out and dump the set in a few months as i have done so many times with so mant other sets.

If anyone has any high end PSA 8 or 9 cards for sale please PM me or send me an email at: superpunk813@yahoo.com

Also, If anyone emails me tonight i will respond on Sunday becouse as soon as i post this im leaving for Nashville to see the Predators and Devils tonight.

Paul.

Best wishes -- that is a very cool set.
  • nice, good luck with that one. I dont have the patience yet to collect a vintage set. Maybe someday when the budget isnt so tight.

    I have about 20 1971's - recently graded .....
    All 8's + 1 "9" - #48 Dave Baldwin.
I think you will find them "Not Sliders"

If we can agree on price/card - I would be willing to send them on approval ( you get to pick and choose ) which ones you want - and which ones you want to return.

    Either Way -
    Good luck on the set.

I would NEVER undertake that monster......

  • SUPERPUNK - I've got a few dozen extra 8's for your new 1971
set. If you're interested, PM me for a inventory and price list or
pehaps we could trade if you have any 1978 PSA 9 cards.

sjjs28 - I may be interested in some of your 8's as well. If you're
interested in trading, PM me and let know what you collect and
I'll see what I have available.
