Thank you to everyone who submitted entries. The following lists all 46 eligible entries together with their official beginning value figures. The contest had 19 entries last year, so this is a nice increase in participation. In those cases where I received an entry that did not meet all necessary criteria, I tried to substitute the closest available entry which did. In a few cases I could find no comparable substitute and I apologize to those whose picks were excluded due to the eligibility criterion needed to make the contest easier to administer. The list begins with defending champion, 2003 Coin Picker Guru jdimmick whom everyone will be trying to dethrone for the title of 2004 Coin Picker Guru!

For the time being...let me post the top 5 current performers. I will say, the Top 5 so far this year are clobbering the Top 5 we had last year at this same time. Last year, the best performers were up around 50%. This year we have a single pick up over 100% and several pushing that mark. Oh yea, if the spreadsheet gets posted and you think there is an error in the Current Value figure, just PM me. I did these pretty quick today and havn't had a chance to vouch for complete accuracy. O.K. the top 5 through today are:
beartracks42: 1892-CC Morgan MS63 Jan. 1 Price:835 Current price:1,860 up 122.8%
my3cents: 1911-D $2 1/2 Gold Indian XF/AU Jan. 1 price=1,000 Current price=1,900 up 90%
Bochiman: 2001-S Sacagewea Rool - Proof Jan. 1 price=450 Current price=820 up 82.2%
mgoodm3: 1922 No D Lincoln - XF40 Jan. 1 price=1,150 Current price=2,050 up 78.3%
bajjerfan: 1893-S Morgan - F12 Jan. 1 price=1,800 Current price=3,000 up 66.7%
If your new and/or don't remember the rules and/or don't remember what values I used for your picks, you may review the rules here:

Around Dec. 15 I will be posting a thread soliciting your picks for the 2005 calendar year. Not too early to begin getting your short list together! Congrats to all those who are kicking tail and good luck to all for the remainder of the year.

I think Brian may get into the top 5 with the 32-d quarter, as Its being pushed higher and higher and will probably rise another 500+ before the end of the year!!
The Ludlow Brilliant Collection (1938-64)
Thanks for the update Greg!
I can't believe a modern like I picked is actually battling around with those heavy hitting coins!!!!
Looks like there were only 3 other moderns picked out of the batch.
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
