55d Washington - MS?

I am hopeless when it comes to some series - like this one for example. Can I get an opinion on this one please?

The coin is very lustorous, but has a scratch starting from about 10:00 on the reverse and some hits on the neck and some spotting shows up under 10x. Is it MS anything?

    Unless it's just the picture, it looks AU or cleaned to me.

    My assumption is the picture, based on what Frank said, and my thinking that it's a scan...

    I'd say most defintely MS, but without seeing luster/marks/etc, I can't really give a grade... my assumption is the scratch would hold it way down.

    Your subject line caught my eye. I just submitted a 55-D with visions of high grades and $$ in my head. I think it is a good shot at MS66.

    looks MS to me also but that scratch will put the value down to a couple of bucks. mike
