PR70DCAM Statehood quarter prices

I've been trending the prices of Statehood quarters (2003 only) in PR70DCAM and I've noticed on Heritage's site that some of these have gone for around 225.00 including juice. For modern collectors is this expected due to the populations or just recent bargins that people have snagged?

Any thoughts? Rich

  • The pops are very high; they are offered nearly every auction both on Teletrade and Heritage, as well as many eBay auctions each wek. I suspect the prices will stay around this level--I don't see the price of 70's getting much lower, and with the high pops I don't think these prices are an anomaly--they shouldn't go back up. 2003 has become the only year where it is feasible to have a perfect set of proofs at an affordable (relatively) price, as only the clad JFK and Sacagawea are still a little hard to find (the $1's are out there but they still command higher prices.
