Hey those colors look much nicer than the sellers pic. Just goes to show you can't take these ugly scans as absolutes sometimes.

Looks like it had an advertising sticker on it for years while it lay around obverse up in an environment condusive to toning. Then someone used some acetone to remove the sticker.

I'm pretty sure Conder101 hits it on the head with advertising sticker. Maybe not exactly an ad sticker but maybe a price sticker or something similiar but it was some kind of sticker nevertheless.
