What premium, if any, does the 1880 O, micro O....

    They are real... but there is no premium for this date. It is a much different story for the 1896-o, 1900-o and 1902-o.

    Well, depends. I have received a slight premium for the designation on the 80-O. I'm talking slight here. image
    That's my favorite Morgan date. First year I ever purchased when I was 16 or so.

    Both mm are readily available so there's no prem. The good 80-O's are the od's & om's and the crissbar model.
    With all that said I think the micro O is the coolest because it is the same mm punch used on some Seated & Barber quarters.
    Change that we can believe in is that change which is 90% silver.

    Vam 4 and VAM 5 of the 1880 Micro O are 80/79 Overdates and command a modest premium of 25-50%. Not all 1880 Micro O's are VAM4 & Vam5 however.
