Bill, the link didn't work for me. Darkhorse, I started to read the manual while watching the game. Holy cow! This is going to take some work on my part. Maybe I'll have Mrs. ajaan figure it out, she has more patience than me.

We also bought a Canon i560 printer. It seems to be the best one for our use and the cost.

Here's a bit of a rough step by step for shooting some coins with the A70.

The lighting setting here is if you're taking a shot under a lightbulb.

Turn the dial at the top to the little face icon.
Turn camera on, turn the switch on the back to the camera icon.
Below the screen display press the FUNC. button.
The display should then show a red square on the left on +/-0. On the diamond shaped group of 4 buttons I press the left one twice while the +/-0 is highlighted red.
After I'm done that I press down on the diamond buttons. Then the AWB should be highlighted, press right until the lightbulb icon is highlighted red.
After that press the FUNC. button again to get out of that menu.
Then press the bottom button in the diamond to get the macro going. If you need to hit the top button to disable the flash.

Now you're ready to take some pictures.
