I am not sure how to provide the link but I am sure another reader can.

Look at Ebay # 2214297170!

The coin is listed as a 1960D small date lincoln, The picture of the slab shows a 1960D small date but yet if you look at the coin - it clearly is a 1959.

Can someone enlighten me or am I just annoyingly retentive on having the information agree.

I sent a question to the seller and I'll post response when received.

There is no mention of an error in the text of the listing either.

Had a very quick response from the seller

"Looks like we're selling a PCGS "error" coin. we'll end it and get it fixed."

I think that was an excellent way of handling it!

Crap, the PCGS error coin will jump to $1000.00 opening bid!!

This particular seller lists approximately 6000 coins per month. At that volume I don't think he has much time for careful screening.

and a good part of the lincolns look like they've been dipped ,cleaned , or wire brushed....or he just takes terrible pictures.

Hard to blame that seller, when the "premier" grading company goofs fairly often itself....

In the case of the PCI garbage and NTC crap he lists, you're likely right.

I guess he had to have Photoshopped that picture, but why would you do that in the first place? Why not just
take a picture of the slabbed coin without adding anything?
