If the coin is genuine, then it's a modern (1980+) silver bullion issue,
with a nominal value of $1.
If that's the case, then the 1900 date that appears on the obverse
of your coin has been altered. No such coin exists from 1900.

Do you have any experience at all with coins by the way? Because your
description is inaccurate.
The coin is certainly not ancient and you should have mentioned its
condition (unc, xf, vf etc).

What bothers me though, is to see $30 shipment fees for an $5 item (+$3
insurance)!
Are shipment fees that expensive in China?

Nice going, Dimitri! It's sad that the crooked seller is trying to play the race card and say we hate Chinese. If this is the way Chinese expect to take over the world, then many people will start hating them. Fortunately, not very many Chinese are such fraudulent liars.
