Reads like an old Topps back...

I still remember the days of reading the backs of Topps cards... with all the random facts about players. I attribute most of my trivia knowledge to reading all of them. Plus, as a baseball collector for most of my life, I've always been fascinated by the stats of our national pastime.

Anyways, I came across this ESPN article just now and thought I'd share - great trivia and great 'specialized' stats:

Please be kind to me. Even though I'm now a former postal employee, I'm still capable of snapping at any time.

Great post. I always enjoy reading the backs of cards. One of my faves: 1964 Philly FB #151 Mike Sandusky. Note the Doc listening to Mike's knee with a stethoscope and his praying Mom wearing a "Babushka"!

    I love that stuff!
I've mentioned this before, but I am a fan of the little trivia tidbits on the back of the 1965 Topps cards so much I put some into the Set Registry. One of my favorites states that "Don is a top-notch bowler".
