Does anyone make

a mylar/cardboard 2x2 appropriate for the many world coins larger than a U.S. half dollar but smaller than a typical crown or U.S. large dollarimage

Some of my coins look a little strange with a border of 1-1/2 to 2 mm of unoccupied mylar window.image

  • That's a great supply source Bill, but their 2x2s are the same old U.S. coin sizes. I'm trying to find something between the half dollar and dollar sizes.image

Hmm. Guess I'm weird. I actually prefer a little "daylight" between my coin and the cardboard, so I can see the edge a little. I hate really snug-fitting 2 X 2's. Mind you, there is such a thing as too much daylight, but I do like a little room there. This is why I only use (and sell) four sizes of them in my booth: Cent (for cents and dimes and anything smaller), Quarter (for quarters and nickels and anything smaller), Half Dollar, and Dollar. Guess maybe I oughtta stock the other sizes for you weirdos who like 'em tight, huh?

I've purchased Bust Half sized 2x2's from Here in the past and have found them quite useful for world coins that are slightly bigger than a half.

LM and a few others here will certainly recognise the dealer, a frequent "contributor" to the eBay coin chat room.
