AU or MS?

Light brown but shinny.
Has 2 small scratches, 1 to the left of the date & the other, right of the T in cent.
Might be a rub above the ear on the crown from the flip it was in. Would that make it AU?
Thanks,
Glenn

I'm not an expert and I can't say. I don't believe so, judging from the pictures. It's also very well struck!

  • Sorry, I forgot to add close-ups. It also has a crack!
Struck to hard, or is it a die crack?

Die cracks and breaks are frequently encountered on British Commonwealth coins. I kind of like them myself; I think they add character.

  • I'd say that MS coin has a die crack.
