'50s Bowman ads

I recently purchased 3 old ('50, '51, and '52) Phillies scorecards. I noticed that a couple of them had advertising for Bowman cards in them, including black and white pictures of some of the cards. Does anyone know whether this was unique to Phillies programs (Bowman was headquartered there, IIRC), or did they do this in other major league team scorecards?
I'll get and post digital pictures when I get the chance.

Nick:..I recently sold a 1955 Indians yearbook and it contained an ad for Topps. I have a 1955 Indians score card..no card ads.
