Marianne - A New Love

Went to a local coin show today, primarily to check out Marianne portraiture in the flesh, so to speak. OK for the most part, until I came across the bronze 10 Centimes series of 1898 to 1921.
Holy cow! The photographs do not do this coin justice. I think that this series has now become my candidate for most beautiful coin. Now I only have to find the most perfect one that I can afford.

    That coin is at the wrong angle, it should be 90° counter-clockwise. The coin serves as a lesson to children as to why you shouldn't eat ice cream cones in bed or while laying down.
