My newest purchase is a 1853 Arrows and Rays Quarter(better pics added)

My mother wanted to go to Nashville becuase she had heard that there were quite a few things to do during the holiday season so we went there for two days. While we were there I found out that there were some coin shops so we went and checked them out. We went to American Coin & Stamp Exchange but I did not find anything. We then went to Coin Purse Inc. It was one of th nicest coin shops that I had ever been to. While there I picked up this beautiful coin.

I would like your opinions on the grade. I have not really started collecting seated liberty material but this coin was a coin that I could not pass up. I probably paid too much but I do not really care. I got a coin that I like and that is all that really matters to me.

A little over two years ago, I was in and the guy had a 1889-cc PCGS-55 Morgan that was super nice, white and full of luster. Greysheet was 2000 and he wanted 3100. I almost bought it, but hesitated and passed. Boy what a miss, the quality of that piece is easily worth 5500.00 today. Oh well, every time I here about this shop, i think about that!
