Trying to catch colors is giving me a headache! Does this image seem natural to you? With the coin in hand and light at an angle, these colors are true although (believe it or not subdued) the body of the coin in this image seems a little dark... bear in mind this is a silver proof coin that has heavily toned. There are blues and greens that I just can't bring out-is natural light the answer?
If anyone experienced a revelation when trying to capture colors please share

Is that a scan or a photo? If it is a digital cam photo it may be a setting for the lighting .

Then it should not look copper colored, IMHO. Does it look like your photo?
Sorry for my "non-help" but I have never seen a silver coin look like copper.

My picture is very close, but since I had to enhance the colors a little to show them the body of the coin is just a little darker than true (but not by much) and that was what I was wrestling with.
Edited to add:Newbie-yes your re-edit is better but the coin is still a little darker-it's the colors that are so vibrant that I can't begin to pick up.
