1923 Lincoln double die???

I have a 1923 Lincoln with doubling on the date and on "IN GOD WE TRUST". Can anyone tell me if this is just strike doubling or is there a know double die for this date.

thats what i here also

very many known varieties are not listed in CPG.

they mainly cover the most popular errors and varieties, or ones they have pics of.

ANACS i think is really good at determining what is authentic and can attribute `it` if it is indeed authentic.

Very unlikely that it will pan out to be a doubled die but I would be happy to check the coin or look at photos of the coin for you. There are no known doubled dies for 1923P Lincoln obverses.

There are tons of Doubled dies not listed in any reference. Mostly because they are minor. If you have a pic it would be helpful. It is probably strike doubling but very well may be a genuine Doubled die. Is the coin MS? Send it to copper coins he can verify it for you.

Thanks to everyone for their input on this issue. I suspected it to be strike doubling and after looking checking the site recomended by XpipedreamR I'm sure thats what it is. Coppercoins; I'd like for you to look at it if it does'nt sell(currently on ebay) just to verify my conclusion if you have time.
