Today's Show Purchase -- Colorful Kennedy !

Went to the litte Pasadena Show today and found a couple of nice SLQ's for my VG-F criculated set, as well as 3 toned Kennedys. I can't help but to grab these up whenever I see them. I've got a bunch of toned 64s even a couple of DDOs 64 & 64-Ds, but to find nice color on a clad Kennedy is tough. This is a 77-D, the other 2 -- 1971 and 1977. All with what appears to be Dansco toning.
Any thoughts on the grade.

Thanks
Michael

Yeah, set on top of the water heater up in the attic. That's it "Attic Toned" they slab them too.
Sorry Frattlaw, nice coin.

and it sets us apart from practitioners and consultants. Gregor
BTW - aren't you supposed to be hitting the books, instead of shopping.

I'm going to start on January 1st. I'm giving myself 30 days to become a grading God!
I just watched Seabiscuit -- how inspiring! If that little horse can beat everyone else, why can't I win the World Series of grading!

If its not the `right` color then the coin may have been dipped.
Sometimes dipping/stripping the skin on a clad will reveal the striations of the planchet from the
rolling process of the stock.
I could very well be wrong on this but if I didnt know better I,d say it was dipped and rinse with only water.
If this is true then the grade would be about a MS62 or so.
Dont ya just love great news like this?
<< <i>stman - yours is tonecoin2003 toning --- do you have a tonecoin2003 album??? >>
