Meaning of "PSA-8oc"

Can someone please explain with the "oc" means? I'm assuming it means "off center", but reading about grading, I don't understand how something can be "off centered", yet still get an 8. Thanks.

Yes OC means off centered.I understand your confusion on having the OC with an 8 grade.Seems like by grading an 8 you established that the card may be off center. It's more to show a card that was off at the factory, but still produced the prints.Since PSA grades in whole #'s an 8oc is like a 7.5 grade. It's less than an 8,but more than a 7.
Best example of a card that fits this scenario is the Ken Griffey Jr 1988 Vermont Mariners. All the cards in the First print run was off centered. There will never be a PSA 10 in this card.Hope this helps.
COLLECT KEN GRIFFEY JR BGS 9.5 AND PSA 10'S THAT HAS NOT YET FOUND THEIR WAY INTO THE GREATEST GRADED GRIFFEY COLLECTION TO BE AMASSED....

Actually, reslabbing it without a qualifier could get you anywhere from a PSA 2 to a PSA 7.
