help me price this coin

I have just recently started collecting coins and i found 6 1988 FS (full steps) Jefferson nickels in perfect
condition. I was curious and looked them up in the price guide and it said they were worth $495.00
each! What could possibly could make them worth that much?
Well I know its not worth $500.00 can someone tell me the real price
Its a 1988-D. FS Jefferson nickel the grade is MS67
sorry dont have a pic

Don't have any info for you, but those would be certified coins in which make the grade.

First, they aren't worth that much. The price guide is wildly inaccurate. However, even at half that price, it would indicate they are very difficult in FS.
Second, FS doesn't mean full strike, although it is a strike designator. It means Full Steps. I think you'll find that this is not as easy as may appear at first blush, particularly considering that the price guide value would indicate a certain degree of difficulty for this particular coin.
Finally, welcome aboard!

o and ms67fs is the right grade.
Oh, and I would certainly send them down to PCGS for grading, were I you. Heck, Jeff's, in MS67FS would be very popular right now.
