XMas Coin Cabinet

Merry Christmas everyone. My wife got me this for Christmas and I just love it. I have been looking for a nice coin cabinet for some time and I really think this does the trick. I thought others might be interested in it. For really large collections it might be too small, but it was perfect for me. Here's a picture of it. Classic Toolchest Note the ridiculous price on this link My wife found it at Lowes for about $60, so you can probably find it elsewhere for much cheaper than this site if you want it.

You can fit 3 eagle certified coin boxes in the top (probably much more of the long boxes) with good room to spare, and the many drawers are great for all your smaller stuff like whitmans, proof sets, supplies, etc.

Hope this helps someone.

Thanks

Sweet! I gotta get me something like that. My collection is spread out across the entire house.

    We ARE watching you.

  • Very nice, I could probally use something like that... right now, all my 2x2s are in a Rubbermaid box... and other stupid stuff that really has no value, like a bag of common date wheaties in a small cardboard box in the cubicle shelf by my desk...

I made myself my own coin cabinet. I have two of them actually. I really like yours a lot, could have saved myself a lot of time just buying that one.

  • Where are you going to have room for the coins with all the tools in the box?

Be careful not to scratch the coins!

Personally, I prefer coins strewn randomly about the houseimage
  • The old classic wooden tool boxes are really nice!!!....Ken
