Having fun with sellers on E-Bay!

BigEBigE Posts: 6,949 ✭✭✭
Lately I have been E-mailing sellers on E-Bay when they first list their coin and offering them what I think are very fair prices for their commems on a Buy-It-Now basis, every time I have done this they turn down the offer and ask for roughly twice what I said I would pay, or just didn't respond at all. In each case I have won the bidding for less than what I had offered, sometimes 50% less. I guess people really think they got something when you offer to buy it right awayimageimage---------------------------------BigE

just hope they dont take you up on the offer and sell you something that you would otherwise paid half that
    from that seller.

Cam, one guy I offered 50.00 to, I ended up getting it for 26.00 by bidding. Then after the auction he finally responded to my e-mail and said he would take the 50.00. I had to let him down and tell him I was the high bidderimage---------------------BigE

    LOL

I bet those sellers have bruised butts from kicking themselves for NOT takeing you up on your generous offers.

  • I always accept offers on my coins. As long as I can make a few bucks I usually take the offer. A quick nickel is better than a slow dime
