1856 FE S3 MS66 - 105K with 2 weeks to go!

Prebidding on this coin is strong. Will be VERY interesting to see what it sells for. Finest known S3 at PCGS. Same coin sold last year at FUN for $103,500.
Any guesses on the final price, with juice??

Umm... lemme guess...
TOO MUCH?
Incredible coin, though.
$20,000 per month. Sounds like a deal. I'd have to sell my Standing Liberty Quarter collection, and my Early Commemorative set to do it. ...........NAH !!!

Coin collecting is not a hobby, it's an obsession !

I was sort of surprised to see the variety of 1856 FE's for sale in the auctions -- not to mention seeing this one up for sale again. Seeing the pictures didn't help me figure out the proof vs. mint state issues I have either. I'm going to take a good look at them in person and see if that helps.
It will do quite well. It will definitely beat the record price.
The 1856 FE cent below is the collectors version of the 1856 FE cent. Equipped with a punch test mark! Sold for $4370 in 2001.
