Blake, Blankes, or Blanks ?

The auction tittle calls him Blake, the slab flip calls him Blankes, but on the card his name is Blanks.

I sometimes wonder if the athletes pictured on our treasures,
ever look up their cards on eBay and end up getting a nice chuckle.

    When I met Ted Williams about 15 years ago at an A.City card show, I asked him why some of his Bowman cards had his wrong birthdate on them, I was aware which is correct, since we share the same birthday. He said he never realized they screwed up the date. In other words he could of cared less...jay
