Russ, I bought a morgan from him last year with the picture card, and it is the most stunning thing you ever want to see....It crossed to pcgs 66...its the only one out of 6 that did. Alan always has nice coins and I can almost guarantee you it will have booming luster....Mike (the buyer of Russes working mans stone mountain)
I'm not sure what's going on here with the TW card showing the coin, which presumably is now in a PCGS holder. But, if the coin looks like the seller's picture rather than the picture shown when the coin was last offered, then the seller is likely going to take a substantial loss. Of course, with Private Bidding only, we may not know whether the results to be shown are really genuine, unless one of us buys the coin and reveals that information.

It looks almost exactly like the image from the first offering, (one of the images he included in the auction). The image that's on the Tidewater card is far less vibrant and lustrous than the coin itself. That's a limitation of the printing technology used.
BTW, sooner or later, the right crackout artist will get ahold of that Morgan and it'll land in an MS66 holder. It's a very strong 65 plus, and on the right day it'll grade "eye appeal" MS66. Eventually somebody is going to make a very tidy profit.
Thank you for the nice comments. TW has been looking to hire an ace coin photographer for future cards. This year only one card was shot professionally and it turned out very nice. All or most auctions are private so that the trading card game is not too easy but if this draws suspicion....as seeing from this thread.. I think I'll stop privates in future.
