    I have to admit I have purchased a couple of morgans from him. So far I have not had any problems with him.

    In the "old days" we called this spotted, stained, and ugly. Today I guess it's called Gem Superb Monster Toned. Funny how word usage has changed since the internet, huh?

    I don't consider it "toned". It's just UGLY.

  • Congratulations on your new coin. Remember, it doesn't matter what I, or anyone else thinks about it. The only thing that matters is that you are happy with it.
    BTW, I think you can be pretty sure no one has altered it. It looks original to me. Wish I could say that about every coin I've ever bought.
