So. African Krugerrand in the news

I know it's more of a dark-side topic but I just saw on the news that someone, for the past 15 years, has been putting a one ounce South African Krugerrand in a Salvation Army pail at christmas time. I don't recall where this was happening but this person is totally anonymous, whoever is doing it. Is it one of you?!? image

A very nice philanthropic gesture indeed. Who knows, maybe he'll switch to Maples or Eagles next year?image ( it was not me).

Stuff like that happens every year around here. Sometimes its a 1 oz. coin, other times its multiple 1/10 oz. coins. It always hits the newspaper which publicizes the Salvation Army's presence on the street corners.
