SEG grading

Can someone explain this to me?
When some of these lower tier grading services put on there label "Toned" are they stating it is
Artificial Toning or are they just stating that the coin is not Brilliant?

What coins have SEGS misattributed? Post the particulars, and I'll be sure Larry knows when I see him at the FUN Show.

1. They are buried in SEGS garbage and have no outlet.
2. They have a financial interest.
3. They are part of the Numismatic Axis of Evil.
4. They don't know how to grade.
5. They may have received the free Franklin that they were promised when they joined the SEGS Alliance,
I sure didn't.
or any combination thereof.
FYI:
The plethora of SEGS missattributions and grammatical spelling errors witnessed on labels would
exceed my computer memory alloted.
You're correct, they use the toned designation on alot of AT garbage. I am not surprised that you have not found a SEGS coin that has met your criteria, therefore, stick to PCGS and NGC.
A to #1.-I don't own any SEGS slabbed coins.
Never have.
A to #2.-I don't own any part of SEGS.
Never have.
A to #3-I certainly am not any part of a "numismatic axis of evil"
A to #4-I feel my grading skills serve me well. I've been collecting
since 1957. Ran coin shows and dealt part time for 12
years.
A to #5=I know nothing about this "SEGS Alliance" you joined.
If they're misattributing coins as you stated, come up with the particulars.

I don't particularly think they're useful with other stuff, DMPL Morgans, for example.
SEGS does have a terrific holder and pretty good customer service. I called once and it was Larry Briggs who answered the phone! I had a couple of questions regarding SEGS holdered "Experimental Wash" Sacawageas and he was informative and didn't appear rushed.
