Went to the West Haven show today. It's a small monthly(?) show put on by the Liberty Coin Club. I haven't been there in over a year. There were about 20 dealers setup with plenty of activity.
At the 1st table I stopped at I scored the pair of Gem Proof 1960 Aussie 1/2d and 1d coppers! These beauts are full red blazers! Krause lists them for $95 and $100 respectively, my cost = $60 for the pair! I'm on cloud nine. I've got to figure out how to post scans.
Next stop, I added a few world crowns to my growing collection including a BU 1927 China Memento dollar and a Proof 1977 Singapore $10 showing a crago ship.
Next stop, I picked a bunch of Canadian fish scales (5 cent silvers) and a few other circ Canadian pieces.
Final stop was at Allen Berman's table. He had 3 tables of only darkside stuff and was doing a brisk business. After waiting a few minutes for a spot to sit Allen showed me some of his Canadian material. I picked out few nice mid grade pieces for my hoard. When it came time to pay I found myself a little short. But Allen said "no problem, take the coins and send me a check." Now that is a class act. I've never done business with him before but will definately do more in the future.
Merry Christmas to me....

No Vicky halves to be seen. Lots of circ G IV stuff - all over priced.
Bill,
I decided to go during breakfast while reading Coin World. Saw the show listing, realized I had nothing to do, so off I went.
