What's the price difference for a 1908 $20.....

St Gauden "No motto" & "Motto" in PCGS 64. Which will bring more money in this respective grade and how much to ask for both?....Views appreciated!.....image
What is money, in reality, but dirty pieces of paper and metal upon which privilege is stamped?

The current sell price on these coins is only $5 apart one major US gold retailer/wholesaler. The NM wins the $5 bet. But at $750, the quality of the coin itself should make more diff than $5. Interesting that the Wells Fargo hoard unleashed a ton of NM's on the market and now they bring more money?

I'd have to fathom that the NM as a type coin is tougher than the later dates. But there are tons of both around. The strike on the 1908's tends to be flattish and less attractive imo. Back in the 1989 bull market the NM's brought LESS money as they were considered an inferior made coin with less eye appeal than the flashy 1924-1928 P mint Saints. Other than type coin status, not sure why the 1908 should be worth anything more than the later dates. I consider them both generic gold.
