Difficult to say for sure as the contrast is whiting some of the detail out, I would guess High AU to low MS - I'm sure they look better in person but that would be my guess if I saw those same pictures on ebay.

Did you find those in rolls?
  • I see a little bit too much rounding on the edges and the devices to make me say that either coin is MS - I'll go with AU58 - it seems that perhaps these were pulled out of circulation and not from a roll from the bank or something like that. The luster also seems somewhat impaired on your coins. Compare yours against the one below, which is an NGC MS66 and you'll be able to see that the one below has crisper details and more noticeable luster even though it's toned.

  • Yes.
  • Yea it's the pics I guess, have to turn the quality down for it to fit the 50k. The untoned one has as crisp details as the one you posted, mine also has a gash like that on the cheek, same size. So I guess it could be a 66. Either way good for 50cents, 8 total in 30rolls, about 20 silver clads. image

Not real good pictures to grade by with the blinding flash but I feel safe in saying MS60. Too beat up to go higher than 63 & I don't see any rub that will make them AU..
Change that we can believe in is that change which is 90% silver.

Frank, if you keep showing that coin you'll make me regret selling it! image
