Pop number, line item on the Set Registry

I dont know if this has ever been discussed but I wonder if there is a way to show the pop number next to the registered card on the set registry. In my mind I feel this would be a very difficult task but I am not a computor guru so maybe some of you computor networking guys(Jeb) could think about this. I am sure if you came up with an idea Dude would dedicate a Bud song to you.

Can't you just list it under "Owner's Comments"?

The only problem with that is you would have to stay on top of the POP reports and constantly make changes. Collectors with multiple sets would have a big chore on their hands.

The PCGS set registry has the populations listed, so I assume it can't be that hard.

I see what you mean. You want CU to tie in the database for POP. #'s. It's just lines of code.
  • The hold up is probably they want you to pay for the pop reports. I'm not sure you have to pay for the PCGS pops?

  • It wouldn't take PSA any time at all to list all data about every card ever graded. All of the info is already in their database (although some of it is inaccurate - that's a topic for another thread, though).

I'm pretty sure that Justin nailed it - you have to pay for the POPs. I don't mind that.

PCGS does have a cool way of listing info in the sets, though. Each coin registered shows the POP higher. But, I'm not sure that many of you would like to have this information listed next to each of your cards. image
