PSA graded authentic and labeled trimmed
I saw this card mentioned on the Network 54 board.
I must say that I can only think of a couple of cards that I have seen encased like this. This is a great way to handle cards that are trimmed.
There are so many (Pre-war especially) trimmed raw cards floating around on ebay, that if PSA encased every card that they checked and found to be trimmed, this way, that it would reduce the likelihood that people would get ripped off on ebay.
I hope PSA makes this type of service standard and encases EVERY card they grade "trimmed" in such a manner.
If they did so, they could even create a secondary market for such cards.

- Slowly (Very Slowly) Working On A 1952 Topps Raw Set (Lower Grade)
It is certainly long overdue.I hope the powers that be are reading this thread.I would agree with mrc32 that this would create a definite market. In time it may even rival the legitamite card market as I can foresee high dollar trimmed cards becoming affordable when slabbed and notated as such. This is definately an opportunity for PSA to become a pioneer and would be a real revenue generating direction for them to take.

David.
I agree!!
Hope everything is well with you.

That one is a little different.
Hand Cut = card that was cut out for collectability purposes (think Post Cereal or Hostess)
Trimmed = card that was either cut badly at the factory or trimmed to deceive.
Always looking for 1957 Topps BB in PSA 9!

NAXCOM
doesn't look trimmed to me.
cut yes,but not trimmed.a trimmed
card is meant to deceive.meanwhile psa
keeps the grading fee.took them long enough
to figure that one out and it should be great
for the hobby/business.
