How does PCGS grade....

Being somewhat new and planning to send coins for grading, I was curious as to what instruments PCGS uses to grade? Do they use 10x loupes? Electron microscopes? I guess to put in a nut shell what is the process? image

    PCGS graders sit in a dark room, using an overhead light at their table. They examine the coin with the naked eye and also use 5 power magnification for grading. For counterfeit detection, the graders use 10 power or more.
