Barber Half Set

This seems like a pretty good deal to me. It seems the key dates are going really high lately. I'm probably not going to bid but it would be cool to own a complete Barber Half set. What do the complete sets usually go for?

Barber halves below VG are not a great bargain, they are extemely plentiful. The keys; 92-O & S, 93-S, 96-S, and the 97-O & S are all difficult to find in nice original VG, and coins grading Fine or higher become even more difficult. The keys are probably the only dates that will appreciate much in VG. Most of the coins look to be less than VG.

In low grades of AG-Good, the coins don't look so hot and are very, very easy to find. The five keys in Good, the 92-O, 92-S, 93-S, 96-S, & 97-S are the only ones worth more than about $4.00 - $7.00.

68 X 5 = $340.00 and throw in those ugly keys and the lot may be worth another $300.00 maybe. $650.00 might be worth it, but the big question is would you enjoy them all beat and worn?
