Hello........uhhhhhh..........I don't mean to seem ungratefull but has anybody else gotten anything graded during the last 2 months?
They had received an invoice of mine on 10/24 and they graded part of it by 11/5 and have not touched it since. I guess i'm just venting as PCGS does not have anyone that will deal with it or communicate with me on it. Misery loves company, is anyone else stuck in the PCGS grading balck hole?

7 days, It was from a regular submission.

I have a regular submission in right now that will be one month tomorrow. Just counting business days I am at 20 now and counting. Not sure if they are taking time off for the Baltimore show or not. Either way, I am pretty sure that they are over. To be honest, I would say that my last 3 of 4 (75%) have been over. I have yet to call and complain however, because I have heard there is much whining from PCGS if you try that. I just sit and wait.
This routine sucks
I want to know how long my order is going to take, not Excuses.
"""You may have us over a Barrel now David, but no for ever"""".
There is still NGC and ANACS to go to.

I feel your pain though. Sometimes i feel like i'm loaning them my money up front while they invest it during the wait - it adds up, i'm sure even though there are not a lot of great short term investments. Nice little business. We pay them up front for a job that will not be complete for 1-2 months. Absolutely brilliant.

Glen,
I got email notification on each of my submissions telling me they we're finished and when they were shipped.
I can take a little less $ but turn the coins quicker by using another service.
And that is the key.
PCGS is after all a service company and they are not delivering on that service.
Last year my (modern) submission were taking around 15 days, now they are up to 30.
I can not wait that long.

If I had it my way, stupidity would be painful!
The only reason i send to them is bacause it's good business due to the fact people are more willing to buy their slabs and pay better money. What i get tired of is the complete lack of a go to person at PCGS and the complete lack or information and service in my opinion. Maybe it's the nature of that sort of business, since it's top secret what is going on, on the grading floor for us outsiders. This is a unique business in my opinion, since you pay up front for a service that is not performed and you have no customer rep along the way to guide you. It is real funky in that way.

I check so often that I invariably already have the grades by the time the notice arrives.

As far as I know I am the one that finds the quality coins.
PCGS is only Verifying my findings not the other way around.
So who needs who here.

My next to last submission arrived in the mail before I got an email notification...But, I knew because I'm also checking all the time.
What would be a good idea is to give you a small piece of info, like grading room, sealing room, etc. It wouldn't be that hard for PCGS to put a scanning system in that automatically updates the status page. So, all the receiver must do is put a bar code sticker on your package (same number as your submission), and at every level it is scanned and the status is updated.
