  • That is a new one to me. I never have heard of it......... "Gradiners Island". That should not mean much because of my limited knowledge of places.
    I do like the look of the set, but from the auction I don't know what you might get. Silver? Copper/Nickle? Maybe I just don't understand the auction.

    Those are actually trial strikes, not proofs. I suppose they're intended for sale to raise funds for preserving Gardiner's Island, a large private estate off of Long Island.
