    shipcoin, OT refers to "off topic" or not about coins. Listing a topic as OT warns people its not about coins so if you prefer not to read it, don't. The Darkside takes a lighter approach to off-coin subject matter while the Lightside takes a darker view-funny how that works...

    What a nice small ship, Wybrit! Unfortunatelly all my penny's and 1/2 p. coins only with lighthouse!

    All the Victorian bun head conage (1860-1895) comes with a ship to the right of Britannia. Starting with the Veiled Head, the ship was omitted.

    Yeah, how clumsy of me!

    Still, one of the nicest strikes of any farthing I have is this one, in spite of the small spots.

    Nick, "OT" means off-topic.

    Wybrit, I think you made a mistake when you sent me my 1890 Farthing. You accidently mixed it up with the one you just posted! Coin is in the mail awaiting exchange for the one I paid for!

    You mean this one?

    It's a pretty nice one too. The strike is just as good IMO.
    I had a much bigger cold when I handled that one!

    BU almost full lustre on both. The first one is just a little bit nicer with a more mirror-like appearance.

    They're not slabbed and I am not much on number grades. Except for bag marks, I can't tell a 62 from a 65.

    I think the second one (the one you mistakenly sent me instead of the first one) would grade a 65 were it not for all the sneeze marks on the reverse. I think 64 is a fair grade for it.

    Get well soon. I hope you didn't catch anything from one of my PMs. My wife wants me to take a sick day but it is a hassle getting a substitute and making out lesson plans for him/her, I'm better off going in.
