After so much Canadian propaganda ,I've decided to take a ride on the grey side , without noticing that the seller is worldwideshipment-phobic.I've e-mailed him to tell him that we had to deal with the situation :

"Hello,

I'm the winning bidder of your auction and I've just realized that you do not ship worldwide. Would it be possible to make an exception and tell me the appropriate shipment fees to Greece? (it's really no big deal to ship abroad - I understand that it's my risk of course)

Lloyd has a good solution. The seller may not have gotten your email. I have had two occasions lately were my email ended up in somebodies Spam Box because of their error. Send another message using square trade if it looks like it may end up as a problem. That message will get their attention.

I usually tell sellers who don't ship worldwide that I have the option of a US address if they think it's absolutely necessary, but I forgot it this time. I've sent a second e-mail with this option today via "Ask seller a question" since I do not have his address and quite frankly, I'd prefer if we don't end up in Square Trade ; too many open wounds right now

edit: I forgot that - any comments on the lot?

It's a nice group of coins, with all those cameos. I have purchased from them before, and they seem to be okay to deal with -- it looks like CA is a large volume dealer, so I'm not surprised if they take awhile to respond.

If you need a shipping address in the US, I'll be happy to forward the coins to you. I'll just keep them for a couple of days to drool over them first.

I echo Lloyd's and other's advice: get the coins shipped to a US address, then forwarded to you. I'd volunteer, but I'm not in the States!

I've found that emails sent through eBay aren't always received. You may want to resend it directly, now that his address is available to you.

FYI I have bought from Colonial Acres before and they are slow to answer emails and to ship but they do ship and their stuff is as described.
