I never really got the attraction to die state varieties, and I'm surprised a 1951 Arnprior got $456! How much did the Voyageur 1948 dollar bring?

I didn't notice his 48 dollar being sold...but then again, I'm not in the market for one. His was/is in MS63 condition, therefore it will probably sell close to C$1850

If I save my money, I may be in the market for an AU-58. I don't need the best-- just one with great eye-appeal. image

  • I've heard a rumor that a single collector has hoarded over a thousand 1948 $1...don't know if it's true or not.
  • I hope it's true...maybe my and some other collectors' 1948's will go up in value a bit more.
