1938 South Africa 6 Pence

I bought this coin recently, but I don't know if it was a good deal or not. It looks uncirculated, but I can't be sure. Is this a rare date or something?

I don't have my Krause with me, but I think it's not all that rare. If I remember correctly, the 2 shillings and 2 1/2 shillings are on the scarce side for 1938. Maybe I'm thinking of 1948.

There were 1.7 mil UNC's that year but only 44 proofs. Book on an UNC is $17.50
