And sometimes even experienced bidders who know better decide to do it as well ... Extr.RARE & very large br. plaque by Chaplain ... although here they weren't really all that off for a tremendously rare pattern.

I've seen both those two bidding on the last one going for some of the more high end stuff...maybe I shouldn't be so sad that my computer choked up before I could get a bid on this one :

I think, given I have no idea about real worth and the fact I WANTED to buy it, I may have gone a teensy bit higher than the final underbidder , so the seller would have been very happy. This way my husband is happy, he thought it was weird.
