  • The price range on that 1894 GEA 2 Rupien is rather low for the grade. It's less common than the 1893. I was extremely fortunate to nab a Ch. BU example for my collection and it cost me five times the high end estimate listed by Ponterio (and that was a discounted price for me especially).

    edit: as for the high estimates on them, the realized prices will be more than double on most - very amusing stuff .

    While not the nicest coin, this one is an extremely rare date. In 1967, the valuation was 40/- or £2. It is probably worth more like £100-£300 today:
