Question for you dealers about FUN

Do most dealer take credit cards at major coins chows? FUN? We don't like to carry a lot of cash and if I find that one 'special' coin I just have to have, will a dealer take a credit card? Thanks.

Cash and checks are mostly what I see accepted at shows.

Yep cash and checks. Plus from what I have seen lately all Major shows now usually have an ATM machine in the house.

RARELY does a dealer take cards. Some will only take checks if they know you.

I've never seen anybody accepting plastic, but there is an ATM or two in the convention center. I know firsthand, because I ran out of cash and had to use it during this year's show!

I also used the ATM at last years FUN, but don't tell my wife!

Problem is my wife will be at FUN with me. Maybe I'll set her up with a massage while I hit the bourse . . .
