British commonwealth coin collectors

How many of us collect coins of the British commonwealth by queen or king, denomination, or other criterion?
As I mentioned in another thread, I'm working on a set of George V florins and equivalents. I'm also collecting other silver denominations of George V and crowns from George V through Elizabeth II.
How do you organize your commonwealth collections?

A Canadian "pusher" got me hooked.
I forgot to say that I also collect commonwealth crowns from George V on, especially ascension, coronation and jubilee years. The RCM certainly made my collection that much more costly with all those 2002 and 2003 silver dollars. Let's see, in 2002 alone there's the speciment strike, proof strike, and gold-plated proof. Ack!

<< <i>I could easily picture myself going after George V coins; I like them a lot.You probably know already how elusive the Cyprus' florins and shillings (18 and 9 piastres) are from this period. The day I see a unc I'm going to have a party
No kidding! My 18 piastres is F/VF, and even if I found an aUNC coin I doubt I could afford it.

The last time I bought a British Commonwealth gold coin was a few months ago, when I received a gold 1/4 Dinar coin from Kelantan dated AH1427 (2006) in the mail from a dealer in Sydney,Australia.
In addition,I am collecting modern Irish coins, including the Euro coins,as modern Irish coins are still popular with collectors of British Commonwealth coins.I even have a few coins from the Principality of Hutt River (when it was known as the Hutt River Province Principality prior to 2006) in my collection.
As for collecting by reign,I do that,& I do try to collect by date & mintmark as well.I am also trying to get as many British Commonwealth countries represented.
The coins of the New Hebrides are also a legitimate British Commonwealth issue,as the New Hebrides became an independent British Commonwealth republic in 1980 called Vanuatu.
In addition to coins,I also collect banknotes, postal orders,& traders' currency tokens as well.
Eventually,I will be downloading this FREE numismatic inventory program & uploading photos, which have been edited with the aid of this FREE photo editor onto it.Yes,you can use the same program to have both your banknote & coin inventories organised at the same time. Please email your feedback to Cesare, the Italian developer of the program throughhere.
