Some months back, PCGS started a campaign advising submitters to avoid the use of polybags when submitting coins. Yet, when I receive a no-grade back from PCGS, it still arrives in a polybag! Why does PCGS use a product that they state has the potential to harm coins??

We believe that poly bags may harm coins in the long term. Our recommendation is that poly bags are OK for "regular" or faster services, but my be a problem for your coins in economy or modern submissions.
