A member that posted recently, one I had not seen before and forgot to welcome......... Dennis88......... WELCOME......
He prompted me to look at some of my coins from the Netherlands.
Here are a few and if anyone has an estimate of value I would appreciate it (I do have a few more..)
Most modern coins and one a little older..
What Ya think?

Problem is buyers are few and far between. As such many coins have substantial discounts and when it comes time to sell dealers aren't willing to pay much.
The Antillies seem more popular than the Mother country.
Netherlands appears out of favor at the present time as are other countries. (Belgium comes to mind)
Got quoins?
Thanks again.

Shep
coins and were not saved in massive quantities as many coins were but these are
not that difficult to find and the demand is not substantially greater than for similar
coins. There are many of the later date coins which list for a few dollars which are
nearly impossible to find and these will more likely bring catalog prices when sold.
Even with these though, there is limited demand for later date coins and finding a
buyer can be difficult sometimes.
You want how much?!!

What on earth are your first two Wayne
The Antilles are also known as the "West Indies". Here's one from the East Indies. (The true color is very similar to your 1959 coin.)
Some of these more modern ones ( that I have ) are in great condition, in my opinion anyway.

Wayne, your first coin,(Nederlandse Antillen 1 c 1961 in dutch) is worth around $4.
The second one, Nederlands Antillen 2 1/2 c 1959 is worth around $12
The third one, Nederland 2 1/2 c 1877 is worth around 5 $ it is the first year coin from that type.
The nederland, 1 c 1916 is worth around 40$ it is a really nice FDC (kind of a mint state) example.
Cheers,
Dennis
